DescriptionA long narrow fabric length is covered with a design which alternates bands of design with plainer bands in the direction of the warp. Concentric square-on-square designs with rosettes at their centers alternate with variations of "hands of God" patterns along the bands. Interspersed with these are smaller stepped patterns and arrow motifs. All are organized into regular repeats; colors are rose red, blues, off-white, tan, pale green; made of silk and metallic threads woven in a compound weave.Artist Not Recorded
