DescriptionThe black painted sconce/reflector of the candle holder is inlaid with rosettes and geometric straw applique. The holder a) contains an inset, circular piece of tin to hold a glass candle holder that projects out from the background. The background has scalloped sides and circular bands of straw applique, each with straw starbursts of varying shapes and sizes. The bands are separated by narrow patterns of diamonds, squares, and circles. In the center is a large starburst made up of many diamond straw shapes. The whole surface is covered with an acrylic varnish. b) is the glass candle holder.
