DescriptionFull figure image of La Conquistadora in a gown and cape all done in various flower designs in straw and other material (glass??) On her head is a hat-like straw crown with a cross on top. Around her head and on her crown is an intricate straw halo. She is inset against a black background with a gold arch above her painted with flowers. On each side is a wooden frame painted red with carved gold and red columns on the bottom half. Sitting on top is a hip roof with a carved red and gold lunette with black feather design against a green background. On top of the roof is a straw applique cross bordered in straw and with a flower and line design on front and back against a black background. A straw vine design runs around the small base for the cross. The lady and frame sit on an oblong base painted red on top and black on the sides with a straw vine and flower design running along the edge.
