DescriptionMade of two sections sewn together, this very large horse blanket of a black wool, warp faced weave, is richly decorated. Eight strand multi-colored braids hang from each width side and a black braid (16 strand?) from the front (head)area. The upper area of the blanket is embroidered in geometric, floral, and animal patterns covered with pompons in every color imaginable from hot pink to dark teal blue, dusty blue, green, orange, white turquoise. The back is embroidered with evenly spaced quadrupeds resembling deer and other stylized animals with three legs. These same animals with the same small flower like elements are also sewn onto the falls.On View
