DescriptionThis coat is comprised of red and black velvet. The sleeves and lower torso of the coat are red velvet, while the chest piece is black velvet. The lining is cotton. The collar is red with gold cotton braid. The same gold cotton braid is used in more elaborate patterns throughout the chest piece, along the ends of the sleeves, and at the hemline of the coat. There are 10 nickel disks along the black velvet chest piece. Tags identifying use as a “Guard” coat, as well as manufacture tags attached.
