DescriptionThis natural colored, white wool, long vest has two gores and one pocket. It is decorated at the hem with rows of cotton cord in orange-red sewn to create waves of stylized vegetation. Interspersed are small dashes of color made with blue and green threads and rows of green, white, and red braid. From this large, decorated hem area rise large geometric stylized plants. Around all openings, including pockets, are red, orange, and black braids. The bodice has a red cotton overlay decorated with yellow, red, blue chain-stitched patterns and white/black thread applied by couching. Gold metallic ribbon completes the decoration. A hook and eye closure lies at the waist..c.1910
