ProvenanceAcquisition Proposal Form: The objects were collected by the donors between 1960 and 1995. Some were purchased directly from artists in Mexico and others were purchased drom dealers in New Mexico, Arizona, and Texas. DescriptionBlackware virgin figure, wearing a crown, is in prayer pose with head bowed and hands before chest. Small, winged cherub is a her feet, also in prayer pose. Figures supported by a sphere, from which the two tips of the moon project. Round base under sphere.
