DescriptionSeven scenes, six of them of Spanish village and military life, are embroidered on an off-white cloth panel surrounded by a double-row frame of brown embroidered lines. The panels are multi-colored and each has colored flowers on stems with leaves worked around the humans and animals. 1st scene: Two men and a woman in a carriage; 2nd: A woman and a man with a guitar; 3rd: Two women on opposite shores, and eight men on a boat; 4th: Two men on horseback, stylized buildings, and four men grouped together, 5th: Two boats, one holding two men, and another holding three, 6th: Two horses, one with a rider, 7th: Three lions. Wood rod inserted through the top for hanging.c. 1960
