DescriptionLarge wood box-shaped frame covered with old blue and white cotton print fabric. Has iron crank with red felt fabric and tape protruding from front. On top is a kinetic figure grouping depicting a manioc flour mill scene. At proper right are two men turning a crank on a large wheel, one on either side. Near the back proper right is a bearded man carrying a large basket. At back center is a man holding the handle of a crew press. Another man faces the other end of the press, who carries a wood length in his right hand, at his side. At the far proper left end a woman with a basket tray kneels. At the proper left center end a man feeds a manioc into a machine and at front proper left a man grasps the handle of a large tin vessel protruding from fabric. Painted and stained.
