DescriptionMan's pelete bite (cut-thread) hip wrapper of navy blue cotton with white plaid in small and very fine stripes in a wide central band, with small stripes along the edges broken by wider pairs of white and light orange stripes along the long sides. The white stripes have been cut and pulled, creating repeating motifs of striped triangles along the sides, and central squares ornamented with triangles, boxes and X motifs. Along one short end (currently the top, creating a hanging) a lenght of black velcro has been sewn to a dark blue cloth, the end folded down and hemmed.
