DescriptionChip carved box (a) painted red-orange is missing top and has a drawer (b) at bottom front. Outsides are covered with tiny "flowers," centering tacks or tack décor. Front has star in center of two nested horizontal rectangles surrounded on top and sides by deep, flower-topped scallops. Sides have stars within vertical rectangle and scallops and back has two large hearts on rectangle within zigzags. Inside lined with red cotton and red velvet on sides. Sits on four stacked chip carved feet. Originally had hinged lid. Traces of old, light red paint inside under fabric.
