DescriptionLidded, dark stained chip carved rectangular box (a) with small key (b) and hinged lid with metal handle (c), deep red velvet top and side panels between five stepped, chip carved rectangles and pyramidal forms, velvet overlaid with ornamental brass filigree with lion and angel heads on sides. Stands on metal lion's paw feet. Inside lid (d) has padded frame around mirror, bottom has four compartments, all lined in teal blue silk or satin, one large open, two small lidded with cream colored plastic or bone handles, one lid (e) upholstered in mauve velvet.
