DescriptionThis head scarf is made of white cotton cloth with one point folded over and sewn to form a diagonal. The hemmed areas are decorated with red embroidery and couched braids---one black and gold, the other gold. At intervals averaging 15cm are fringes of white cotton thread (probably crochet thread) with a few strands of red and burgundy.Early-mid 20th century
