DescriptionThe body of the apron is a brown wool with fine, evenly spaced white stripes. It is bordered with metallic threads formed into varying sized circular medallions and with embroidered stripes in red, brown and tan, and red and white. The stitches are chain and buttonhole. There is a row of brass (?) metal pieces--of differing sizes--added to the embroidered area. A small brown fringe finishes the sides and hem. There is longer fringe added to the hem area that are in black and red fabric strips. Braids in black and purple act as ties.
