DescriptionKitchen scene on shield-shaped panel topped with decorative "lunette" with angel looking down from above. San Pascual in blue robes with spring green apron stands between a stove bearing spice jars and a table with a jar of biscochitos and a spilled glass of red liquid. Above the table is a red chile ristra, and below and in front of the table is a cat lapping up the spilled liquid. Under the table lies an expired (or passed out) bird, who has made it there after tasting the liquid (evinced by its footprints). Above San Pascual is a small shelf with pots & pans. A light blue wash covers the "walls" behind, and the ground is a golden brown.George López
