DescriptionIn this Last Supper scene, seven of the disciples sit on a bench facing the other five and the Christ (who kneels) between them. On the center table there are thirteen dishes. Each contains a whole fish. There is also a pitcher for liquid and a bowl of tortillas. The Christ figure appears the smallest of the group. In addition to the white garments that they all wear, he wears an orange sash over his right shoulder. His hands are slightly raised in blessing. Some of the disciples eat watermelon and tortillas;off-white, pale lavender-gray, brown, black, gray-blue, orange, red; brown clay and paint; hand molded and painted.
