DescriptionOld style wooden plough in three parts. Tongue of rounded pine, attached to share with wooden wedges. Guide handle of curved hickory (?) may not be original but is well weathered. The cut down knob in front of the present guide handle looks as if this plough originally was one of those made from a forked branch so that share and handle were from one piece of wood. When this broke off the present handle appears to have been put on right at the back of the share.
