DescriptionMachete-like sword with copper/metal inlay and a highly carved horse on seahorse head. Bone handle with brown brush-like nose and a braided and wood section with embedded brass coins. A much smaller crudely shaped knife has a round dark brown wood handle with braiding, and has a tag with "163.III." Both sword and knife fit into a two piece carved wood, bone, leather, and bark scabbard tied together with woven and braided strips. A woven handle has a loop on one end and two metal rings on the the other end. With the exception of the bone and metal parts, all colors are light and dark brown.Early 20th century
