DescriptionDayak Mandau Sword from Kalimantan in Borneo. Wood, metal, bead and fiber adornments. Sword in carved wood scabbard, ornamental with strings and strands of fiber worked in beadwork and animal teeth. Sword hilt also has metal applique and animal hair decoration.
