DescriptionDark brown stained chip carved wood crucifix with carved symbols of the passion on pedestal base with arched large openings. The cross has scalloped edges of layers of built up chip carved wood, with a ladder, hammer, pliers and gears protruding from the sides. Dull silver metal Christ has bronze halo nailed behind head at center of †. Metal skull and cross bones tacked below feet. At the base of the cross sits a large dice. On the proper front left corner of the pedestal base is a rooster perched on the handle of a shovel. Other symbols now missing.Artist not recorded
