DescriptionSimple, unpainted, Cordova style chip carved standing male figure (a) holding a large hammer (b) in his right hand and standing on a square base. The figure has a long face with a long chin. His thin arms are slightly outstretched but pointed down. He wears a zig-zag chip carved belt,and the bottom of his robe has large chip carved zig-zags with three points atop each. His feet have defined toes and the edge of the base is also carved. On the bottom of the base in pencil is written "George T. Lopez Cordova, N Mex San Jose Carpenter $84.00" some unreadable words," 7 6 1975" Then in pen "Agust 8575 George Lopez Cordova N Mx 8575"
