DescriptionUnpainted wood sculpture in the Cordova chip-carved style. The central piece is a Tree of Life consisting of two main curved trunks with extended curved branches. All covered with many carved leaves and round "apples" on toothpick stems. A bust of a devil figure with horns and raised arms sits on a larger cylinder base, With the two trunks circling this cylinder is a chip-carved serpent. All of this sits on a slab of wood with curved corners chipped carved edge, fallen leaves and "v" designs. A long-haired Eve and long-necked Adam stand on an oblong board with chip-carved edge and scattered leaves. Adam holds an apple in his right hand, and Eve holds an apple in each hand. The fence has three round posts sitting on a crescent-moon shaped base with leaves and Zig-Zag carving under the edge. The string between the posts has several leaves and cylinders hanging. Stuck in a row between the posts are two smaller posts mixed in with standing leaves and cylinders.
