DescriptionThe color range is red, pink, siena, and indigo- there is a nonperspective tile floor and the border is incised with meanders. Figure wears a naive version of stiff hoop skirt and, like so many santero renderings of a statue, the unfamiliar and elaborately trimmed and jewelled skirt has been confused witht he pedestal of the statue and large bulls eye and pear shaped forms have replaced braid and pearl pendants on the gown. A pair of tapers are shown left and right.
