DescriptionWhite cotton painted face mask with yellow-lined flower with red center. Black line, blue triangle, yellow and white circle, and green and orange ‘petal’ shaped repeating motifs. White ground, black, yellow, red, blue, green, orange.Chandrakant Kumar Bari explains his art, noting “Everyone is badly
affected by this virus. Some cleaned more, others did yoga to develop
their immunity. Doctors got infected while treating corona patients.
When artists could not sell their art, they made masks as everyone needs
a mask. I belong to a lower middle-class family living in Madhubani town
and I am the first who passed class 12. I attended the Mithila Art Institute
and now work as a digital designer using an iPad. But my first passion is
Mithila art (from exhibition label text).
