ProvenanceDonor acquired this collection from her mother who collected circa 1970s in Iran or otherwise acquired as family heirloom.

DescriptionThe amulet is centered by an octagonal box with winged and domed lid with turquoise bead in center surrounded by eight smaller beads. On two sides of the box are octogonal pieces, one with a text. To the side of one of these is a silver bead. The pieces are joined by a green and red silk braid.
