DescriptionThis amulet plaque has a wood base (a), which is wrapped in paper (b), with a red and black ink blessing (c), and tied with a red and gold cord (d). The overall shape of the plaque is hexagonal with even edges and consistent thickness. The wood is very light in color, with some black Japanese characters visible beneath the pieces of paper that are fastened to the piece with the cord.Mid-Late 20th century
