ProvenancePurchased by curator Felicia Katz-Harris at shop specializing in woodblock prints (ukiyo-e) in Kyoto; hand-carried to the United States by curator.
DescriptionThis wood block print is comprised of three pieces of paper that come together to create a single scene. In the proper right panel there is a male in a blue and white kimono. In the center panel there is another male in a solid blue kimono fighting with a second male character that is also wearing a blue kimono. This lower center figure disguises a flap, and on the other side of this flap there is a female ghost character. On the proper left side there is a male character holding a stick dressed in a yellow, brown, white and blue kimono.ca. 1950s-1970s
