DescriptionEmbroidered chemise - This white cotton chemise, with gusseted skirt sides for fullness, is plain except for finely executed cross stitched panels added to bodice and collar. The geometric patterns (5 predominate on bodice, one on collar) are of pink, rose, blue, green, gray, violet and dark blue cotton floss. Gold plastic buttons 4 to each side of front opening at each side of collar, from closure along with white cotton thread loops. The sleeves, 41cm. from seam, are finely pleated top of shoulder. The ensemble is associated with the ethnic Croat majority, .
