DescriptionCarved, painted Santa carrying sack over with visible toys on back with right hand and reindeer (?) staff in front held with left hand. Red cloak and hat with white trim, green undershirt visible, black mittens and boots. Detailed and deeply carved, painted face with pink complexion, blue eyes, white hair. Carved brown sack with carved and painted toys showing from top: baseball, pitcher's mitt and bat, teddy bear, Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, sailboat, drum and drumstick, clown doll, and a gift wrapped in yellow. Details of cloak sleeves and trim carved, as are beard and hair and reindeer (?) staff head. Artist's name in black on back bottom of cloak trim "CAMPBELL".1922
