DescriptionGolden bonnet with highly intricate designs and details. The late 18th / early 19th century child’s bonnet is in excellent condition. The silk brocade ground is extensively covered in gold torchon fan lace and trimmed in linen lace. We have a couple of similar examples from Europe, but none as finely rendered nor as well maintained.
