DescriptionSet of two soup spoons with pointy, egg-shaped bowls pointing upward, attached to the handles by an upturned flange. Widening out from the flange, the ends are decorated on top with punched leaves which point down the handles, sets of double lines which curve in and out along the sides and are interrupted by dots with dots. The end has a heart-shaped form tipped with another dot within dot. The spaces between these elements are hatched to resemble leaf veins or with rows of small scribed dots. The backs are undecorated.2nd half 19th c.
