DescriptionDeep, double-handled platter with slightly rounded flat bottom, sloping sides, and a wide rim has a warm, almost light brown overall patina. The inside top is punched in the center, with a small mark nearby; the rim has a slightly raised edge, the inner area decorated with a repeated swag motif with dots at the bottom of each swag, small semicircular yucca-like forms between, a small flower within and tiny oval punches surrounding the design. The thick, poorly cast handles are riveted to the rim, hinged, and are generally oval in form and ornamented with a flattened face with a ruff or collar at the outer edge.
