DescriptionDark brown or black painted or laquered gourd bowl, the inside undecorated, the outside carved with a geometric motif just blow the rim. The motif consists of a series of rectangles divided by double vertical lines. Alternating within each rectangular "box" are three vertical or horizontal lines. At the "top" of the double vertical dividing lines are two groups of three diagonal lines, each set of lines moving outward from the central point.
