DescriptionWide bag with narrow strap has a brick red ground with five vertical figured stripes, each with a tiny exterior flap (interior pouch) edged in glass bead loops and finished with three tubular beaded dangles. The edges of the bottom and lower 1/3 of the bag are also decorated with loops of glass beads and pairs of tubular dangles at the corners (one missing) and at the bottom center. The bag has a fine, thin strap woven in stripes with peyote flowers. The figured stripes on the sides of the bag have multicolored, interlocking scroll tipped diamonds over the off-white ground. The edge bands are 1 1/4" wide, the interior bands 1" wide, and the central band 1 3/4" wide. The outside bands are edged in plainweave stripes in blues, purple and reds. The interior stripes in green, blue, wine and pinks, the central band in two greens, two blues, purple, wine and brick red. Glass beads are in clear, clear lavender, blue, red purple, irridescent black, pink and brown.
