DescriptionSewn in chain stitch, this wall hanging shows two fishing boats. In one a fisherman stands while his seated companion lands a large fish. The second boat with one fisherman is sinking, its prow dipping into the water. Three white gulls fly across the sky. In the water are two crabs, two gray fish, one pink-tongued and long toothed fish, a dolphin, a star fish, oysters and barnacles. A diver ina wet suit is i the water. Initials R.O. (Rosa Onate) and I.N.(Isla Negra) are in the lower right. On the back, an official identifying tag with artist and group. Pictorial embroidery: ocean scene.
