DescriptionRound basket (a) woven of bundles of pine needles and tied with dyed grass in green, light tan, brown, orange and teal blue. Lid (b) of similar construction has flat sides and top rises to flattened center. One immature cone secured there, and one at four quadrant points lower on top. All varnished, cones tied with copper wire. Possibly Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana.1920-1972
