DescriptionStraight-backed arm chair of type known as "priest's" chair. Of hand-shaped pine, construction mortise and tenon. Seat of solid plank, square legs with small cutting away at front outer corner of front legs to give slightly turned effet. Front apron plain. Arms curve out from back of chair, then recurve briefly to outer flare at front ends. One wide and two narrow slats in back of of sawmill wood and are recent replacements. The small scallops cut out of these do not look as if original back was of same design. Otherwise, condition good. No data
