DescriptionOctagonal shaped brass counter with hole at top, stamped beaded design border, hand stamped G.M.L. on reverse and L.V on face. This counter represented 25 sheared sheep. The letters L.V. stand for Lorenzo Villa of Carlsbad NM, a sheep owner employing shearers.
