DescriptionSampler with rows of alphabet in block script with gothic capitals in six rows divided by running borders. Below is a row of Arabic and Roman numerals. Below was "Por P______ V_____" but the letters have been picked out. Below, in script "Ano de 1874" over a garland of flowers, and from L to R are a hammer, pliers, a dice, basket, blue bird and pansy. To the right of the garland are a purple heart, key, man walking on his hands, arrow, house with cross on roof, red basket, small dog and various motifs. A blue running border originally surrounded all four edges. Colors are purple, 2 greens, 2 yellows, 2 blues, light scarlet, 2 pinks, orange and black. The purples are magenta and electric.Artist Not Recorded
