DescriptionThe center of this shawl is of blue & white woven cotton ikat and at the ends images of birds and abstract geometric designs. There are wide borders of starched cotton macrame with lettering and designs of plants & birds. Starched cotton fringe is at both ends. The lettering appears to be a poem: "PALOMA BLANCA,/ A QUIEN LE ADORE, DEJANDOS UNIDO,/ BOLANDO CE FUE. (Translation: White Dove/ the one I adore/ you united us/ and flew away)On View
