DescriptionFull length figure holding Christ Child. San Jose wears a double-lobed crown w/red embellishments. His garments are trimmed and lined with red and decorated w/ short red strokes, w/folds and pleats indicated by vertical blk. lines. He holds a red-robed Christ Child in his right arm and a red-leafed plant in his left hand. Except for delicately drawn hands. figures are heavily outlined in black. The figures are framed by drawn red curtains within a black-and red-edged border with red leaf. Shaped Accents. The outer vestiges of blue paint appear on the saints garments, the outer border, and lower ground. Hole at top with leather thong for hanging. Remnants of 2 stickers on back of panel.
