DescriptionThis black wool dress has an attached apron and belt. The dress and apron are embroidered in reds, greens, and gold. Olive green wool binds the bodice and apron edges. The bodice is lined in turquoise wool; apron and dress lined in silk/rayon. There is cartridge pleating at the waist of the skirt and apron. Attached is a wool belt that appears to be double knitting. The belt ends in wool fringe. On the belt front is an attached filigree clasp, heart-shaped with raised circles. The belt, apron, and dress have snap and hook and eye closures at the left waist.Artist unrecorded
