DescriptionThe top in subtle shades of tan, green, blue, ecru and rust has the word Pins chain-stitched in the center blue square, In lower left corner is an embroidered tree with red fruit [flowers]; the same repeats on the upper right. Embroidered leaves and flowers in white and gold cross the cushion's top and interspersed is one gold heart. Stitches include satin, herringbone, lazy daisy, and blanket. The reverse is a natural silk aquare outlined in red cotton. It reads "A present from Maude" done in chain stitch.Late 19th-early 20th century
