DescriptionOne gallon olive green alkaline glazed pitcher with pinched lip spout with rounded rim. Strap handle with intials "MH" at top curve. Imprint at base of handle. Both sides have a slip decorated, Edgefield-style design of "1" as a capacity mark surrounded by loops as medallion. The number has "Hewell's" above and "Pottery" below--all within the looped medallion. Bottom is signed "Matthew Hewell John 3-16 Gillsville GA."
