DescriptionStorage jar with cobalt blue on white glaze, depicting a bird over a cactus. Exterior surface divided into five thickly patterned bands of floral motifs and scrolling. The major design panel is divided into four units by groups of bold pillasters which terminate in trefoils. Pillasters are intersected by lobed medallions w/ scrolls in reserve white, each depicts a nopal cactus and a crane. Vessel has nearly flat bottom and flares gently to a softly rounded shoulder with a short neck with flat rim.
