DescriptionThe "Cat with Prawn" is a favorite theme among Indian folk artists. This one is executed in what is known as the kalighat style, a peticularly Bengali style of painting named after the ghat (bathing area) at the base of the famous temple of the Goddess Kali in Calcutta."Handmade in India" written on back, but appears backwards due to the paper being translucent.
