DescriptionEmbroidered, cross-stitch. Red cotton thread on white cotton. Upper half is alphabets. Lower half: "DIO MI VEDE DIO MI SENTE" ("God sees me, God hears me."). Motifs: cross and instruments of the passion; skeleton holds envelope and scythe. "SEMPR MAI ETERNI" ("Always never eternal") at bottom; at top: "VIVA GESU" ("Long llive Jesus"). // M.
