DescriptionDark carved wood box with zigzag chip carving on lid with brass hinges attaching to bottom section. Radiating pattern on top of lid from stacked circles in center. All sides of box with chip carved elongated diamonds flanking a small cross on four levels. Deep lid holds three drawers, one destroyed but pieces extant. On bottom of lid behind drawers on one side a small mirror and the other embroidery reading "Fröhliche elnachten."
