DescriptionPainting of a sacred heart with double thorn wrapping, cross within flames at top, and bleeding wound at lower side, visible through glass under round opening in center of roughly oval hand-carved frame. Frame carved with a large cross that juts above and below from proper right top to lower left bottom. A chalice with IHS is positioned before it. A sword, scourge and sponge are carved at sides, all pass through center. The cross is painted in black and red.
