DescriptionIn the center of the base is a dark blue oval with dark blue whirls or "snails" inside. Two angels in light blue with white wings are at each end of the oval. The background design is many white and green diamonds. On the gold edge is "La Sagrada Corazon" on one side and "Sacred Heart" on the other, and four red flowers with black wavy lines on each end. Attached below this gold edge is a rounded blue edge with many black semi-circles. On top two red and yellow stakes reach up diagonally, almost touching at the top. Supporting this whole base element are two blue and white cross pieces with round whorled legs at the corners. Attached to the red and yellow stakes on the base is a large brown heart with a straw and toothpick crown of thorns. On top of the cross are two long diagonal arms of red and yellow, and also red and yellow "flames" coming from the center. The heart opens on wooden hinges to reveal a wood relief image of Mary in blue and red with red drapes above and a green shrub on each side below. On the facing side is a Christo in a blue and white loin cloth and holding a bleeding heart. This side also has red drapes above and two green shrubs below. On the back of the heart is a wood relief of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, dressed in blue and red, with child Jesus, both holding a red heart. The background is brown with a scalloped edge and framed by wavy brown lines with dots. At the top is a light brown lunette carved into a triangular section.Artist not recorded
